Hello!

I hope all is well with you! It’s hard for me to believe that I just graduated from Waynesburg University this past spring. The past 4 years in nursing school flew by! I have learned so much, met some of my very best friends, had some experiences of a lifetime, and seen the Lord work in incredible ways. Through and through, my heart has always longed for international missions, and the Lord has opened an unimaginable door. With this all said, I will be joining the  World Race:Semesters team for 3 months of international missions!

The World Race is a program through Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational nonprofit missions organization that focuses on discipleship, prayer, and the relationship between God and his people. I am so honored to have been accepted into this program in order to bring the Word of the Lord and His love all around the world!

In August of 2021, I will be leaving to travel to South Africa, eSwatini, and Lethoso. I will live in each country for one month. Although each country, month, week, and even day will look different, some of the things the team will be doing includes: ministering to children, discipleship, manual labor, and bringing hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. Lots of super cool stuff going on for sure! I genuinely feel as if the Lord has called me to spend the next few months prior to getting a nursing job serving Him in radical ways, and I think the World Race will be that perfect opportunity. I have SUCH a heart for missions, and getting to partake in this would fulfill so many dreams of mine.

How can you help?

Prayer:

  1. For me and my team, that we would delight in our new community together, and grow together in the name of the Lord. Pray that each of our gifts be used to bring Him glory.
  2. For the people we will encounter. That we can use our stories to make connections and form awesome, lasting relationships!

Financial Support:

I know that the God who called me to this is faithful to provide. My fundraising goal of $6,900 includes the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. While you may not be traveling to a distant country, you are still doing something significant by enabling me to walk out my call and be the hands and feet of Jesus. By supporting this mission, you are a part of God’s Kingdom work!

There are two ways you can financially donate:

  1. Via my blog  https://brennaflynn.theworldrace.org/  Not only does this act as a place for donations, but I will also be posting regularly about my journey — subscribe if you want to stay updated!
  2. By check. Please make all checks payable to Adventures in Missions. I have enclosed a fundraising card that must be filled out and sent with your check to the address listed on the card.

I would love to have a conversation whether it be over coffee or via phone, and will be following up soon to set that up if you’re interested!

I am so excited for this journey, and it is with a humble heart that I ask you to join me.

All the love,

Brenna Flynn

  1. Brenna! This must’ve been so exciting! Again I’m late to the party, but I’d love to join you! Well… for the next one that is (by at least helping to do my part)! I know you definitely changed many lives there and will again in the future. It still must be so exciting to know you went and will likely again! So here’s to the future trips and all the impacts you’ll have on many many lives to come for Him!
